OUR SERVICES

The Kesher Shalom Projects is dedicated to fostering healing, resilience, and understanding within diverse Jewish communities and beyond, utilizing education and mental health support as our pillars. In response to the events of October 7th and ongoing situations, our initial mission is to equip therapists, clergy, educational leaders, and other helping professionals globally with essential tools and expertise essential for supporting Jewish clients during times of conflict.

Our flagship initiative, the G.U.A.R.D. System, presents a comprehensive approach to trauma and its treatment. This system aims to identify and define various trauma types and their impacts on individuals' lives. It also offers insights into different modalities of treatment, teaches assessment techniques for clients experiencing active trauma, and provides practical grounding techniques.

Furthermore, our programs delve into understanding the Jewish trauma experience, focusing on building resilience. We offer optional training in basic Jewish cultural competence, discussions on intergenerational trauma rooted in Jewish history, and approaches to understanding and addressing the impact of anti-Semitism on society.

The RESOLVE program concentrates on conflict resolution through real and respectful communication, effective boundary setting for fostering positive interactions, and compelling narrative crafting to enhance impactful and positive audience resonance.

We provide specialized workshops tailored for Jewish therapists, addressing countertransference during the War in Israel and coping strategies concerning anti-Semitism when working with clients. Similarly, non-clinical professionals engaging with Jewish clients can benefit from our specialized workshops.

Moreover, we offer psycho-educational workshops and support groups catered to Jewish communities, parents, and college students, providing practical coping tools for navigating the stresses of today's times. Additionally, our services extend to individual consultations and group sessions, ensuring personalized support and guidance.
