OUR SERVICES

Trauma therapist founded Kesher Shalom Projects in response to the devastating events of Oct. 7 Our mission focuses on education, and antisemitism, essential for both building resilience within Jewish communities and understanding the psychology behind why people fall for antisemitic propaganda, which impacts the whole society. These insights are critical for combating antisemitism and supporting those affected by it.

"Combating antisemitism isn’t just about addressing hate against Jews, teaching Holocaust education, or understanding our history—it’s about educating others on who the Jews are, understanding the mechanisms that fuel hatred, and equipping people to deconstruct and counter these forces because safeguarding Jewish identity and truth is essential to protecting the values that uphold all of society." Malka Shaw

Our flagship initiative, the G.U.A.R.D. System, presents a comprehensive approach to trauma and its treatment. This system aims to identify and define various trauma types and their impacts on individuals' lives. It also offers insights into different modalities of treatment, teaches assessment techniques for clients experiencing active trauma, and provides practical grounding techniques.

Furthermore, our programs delve into understanding the Jewish trauma experience, focusing on building resilience. We offer optional training in basic Jewish cultural competence, discussions on intergenerational trauma rooted in Jewish history, and approaches to understanding and addressing the impact of anti-Semitism on society.

The RESOLVE program concentrates on conflict resolution through real and respectful communication, effective boundary setting for fostering positive interactions, and compelling narrative crafting to enhance impactful and positive audience resonance.

We provide specialized workshops tailored for Jewish therapists, addressing countertransference during the War in Israel and coping strategies concerning anti-Semitism when working with clients.
